200 ryt, certified massage therapist

Mimi is a 200 hour RYT. In 2013 she attended Roots and Wings Yoga Teacher Training with Lisette Hart. Earlier this year she attended a 100 hour Yoga Teaching Mentorship Program with Kristina K Bengala and Alana Bray Barrey. This process has deepened her 7 year, ongoing yoga practice. Yoga and Teaching yoga, have created a shift, an openness to life. It helps her live each day more aware and awake. 

Mimi has a 10 year massage therapy background. This complements her yoga and understanding of the body and the emotions very well. She enjoys the system  of yoga to grow and shift in the physical/emotional body and to shift the mind. It is a way for people to understand and connect more deeply with themselves and the way they live in the world.

Her teaching style and training includes vinyasa flow inspired by elements of Ashtanga, Anusara and other alignment based teachings. She also teaches gentle yoga, beginner and mellow flow.
